During June 15th through the 19th, five Plymouth competitors competed in a virtual online National Tournament. Each individual qualified in their events back at the District tournament in March.
Those Competitors were: Autumn B. and Quentin B. - Duo Interpretation Anne B. - Informative Speaking Elle H. - Original Oratory Austin K. - Humorous Interpretation On June 18th, the breaks for top 60 were announced with the DUO of Autumn and Quentin advancing to the next round. The two sophomores ended their run soon thereafter but are awarded a job well done for their accomplishments! *Some of our original national qualifiers chose to give up their national spot in light of the pandemic. Those students were Fernanda C (IX), Emma K. (CONG), and Brenna L. (USX). At West Lafayette on December 15th, Trent McKenzie was named Varsity Congressional Debate champion, while Jack Garner placed 5th. In the Novice division, Matt Janus placed 4th. Great job to our small debate team to conclude a successful regular season!
